Intelligence in detectors
FireFocus is the only addressable fire detection system that lets its intelligence reside in the detectors, unlike other systems where the control centre interrogates the devices.
Addressable detectors
The addressable detectors – Cosmo series – are designed with automatic internal diagnostics of the system and the loop that starts every few minutes: this means that they communicate with the plant by providing information on the temperature or concentration of smoke in the environment, without having to specifically interrogate the plant.
This unique feature facilitates maintenance and ensures that the system is always operating correctly, with considerable time savings.
Various types of detection are available, which can be installed according to the different characteristics of the environments: smoke, thermovelocimetric, heat, multi-criteria smoke and heat and with double insulator on board.
The convenience and simplicity do not end there.
Thanks to a single universal base you will have:
- One wiring type only
- Only one connection scheme
- Zero delays in the installation of the system in the event of uncertainty about the type of technologies to be used
- Freedom to decide at a later time whether to apply an addressed or conventional detector on the universal base
